Our story
Building Healthy Communities
The Multicultural Community Family Services, Inc. (MCFS) is a non-profit, community-based organization. MCFS was founded in 2003 to bridge the cultural and linguistic service delivery gaps faced by traditional service providers serving African immigrants resettling within Philadelphia and Delaware Counties, after years of civil war conflicts in their home countries.
MCFS works toward improving the social determinants of health for seniors, children, youth, and families thru the delivery of culturally targeted, workforce development and trauma-informed services for anyone seeking assistance from MCFS. community health, education, workforce development, advocacy, immigration & ESL support, and professional development
MCFS serves more than 2000 individuals and families annually from more than 45 countries residing within Delaware County and the greater Philadelphia region.
